James Kuo M.D., M.B.A., Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of BioMicro Systems, Inc., will present a talk
entitled "Developing an Asian Network for a New Microarray
Product" at Chips to Hits (www.chipstohits.com) in Boston,
MA on September 22, 2004.
"I am excited for the opportunity to speak at Chips
to Hits about establishing an Asian distribution network
for BioMicro Systems flagship product, the MAUI® Hybridization
System. Chips to Hits is a superb microarray conference
for the company to expand our customer base for our
suite of microarray hybridization products," said Dr.
Kuo.
In addition to Dr. Kuo's talk, BioMicro Systems will
present a poster entitled "Demonstration of Depletion
Zones: An Important Source of Error in Microarrays"
by Lawrence Weir, Ph.D. and Nils Adey, Ph.D, two BioMicro
Systems scientists. This technical poster provides information
on how to optimize microarray hybridization results.
